This Privacy Policy is a contract entered into between You (“you,” “your,” “yours”) and Cortado Labs, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our,” “Cortado Labs”).

This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on the FitBee website (the “Site”) and application (the “App”).

We take personal privacy seriously. We limit the collection of personal information to cases where we truly need it or where it is required for the operation of our products. Personal information is never shared except to comply with the law, develop and improve our products, or protect our rights.

User Provided Information

We may collect information that you provide directly to the App. Such information may include:

Automatically Collected Information

User and Device Identifiers

The App uses randomly generated identifiers to anonymously identify users and devices. These identifiers may be associated with data sent to our servers and service providers.

Analytics, Diagnostics, and Measurement

We use analytics, diagnostics, and measurement providers to understand how FitBee is used, diagnose issues, measure product and marketing performance, and improve the App and Site. These providers may receive random identifiers, device and app metadata, usage events, page views, and diagnostic information.

Current examples include Amplitude and Firebase for app analytics and diagnostics, and Meta Pixel for Site measurement. Amplitude’s privacy policy can be found in Amplitude’s privacy policy.

Apple Health Data

The App uses Apple’s APIs to read and write certain data to/from the Apple Health app on your device. Such information may include:

We use your Apple Health Data to update and track the health goals you set.

The App cannot read or write Apple Health Data without your explicit consent, and you may choose to remove access to future data at any time.

Email

If you email us for support or other feedback, we will keep the emails and email addresses. We will only use the email addresses to reply to the original request, and we will never use them for marketing.

User-Generated Content

Any foods that you create in the App or Site and choose to submit to the “Community Database” may become publicly visible. You are able to opt out of future submissions by turning off the setting when creating a new food.

AI Features and Your Data

FitBee includes AI-powered features that allow you to analyze photos or describe meals in natural language to receive estimated nutrition information. To support these features, we relay your input to OpenAI to perform the analysis. Your input will not be used to train OpenAI’s models. Children’s Privacy

Our Site, App, and Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 18 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at privacy@fitbee.app so we can delete their information.

Account Deletion

You may delete your FitBee account at any time from within the App. This will permanently remove your data from our systems.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by email or by posting a notice within FitBee. Your continued use of FitBee after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
