FitBee URLs
FitBee URLs let other apps, websites, shortcuts and devices open FitBee to a screen, ready to go. A kitchen scale can show a QR code that opens Quick Add with the portion it just weighed:
fitbee:///quickAdd?name=Chicken%20bowl&meal=Lunch&energy_kcal=520&protein_g=45&total_carbohydrate_g=50&total_fat_g=12&serving_weight_g=412Or a home screen shortcut can open the water log:
fitbee:///addWaterA FitBee URL only opens a screen or fills in a form. Nothing is logged until you tap Save, so FitBee URLs work without being turned on first.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”URL format
Section titled “URL format”A FitBee URL is fitbee:///, a command, and any parameters as a query string:
fitbee:///quickAdd?name=Oatmeal&energy_kcal=310FitBee also accepts the command in the host position, with two slashes instead of three, so fitbee://quickAdd?name=Oatmeal works too:
fitbee://quickAdd?name=Oatmeal&energy_kcal=310Values
Section titled “Values”- Percent-encode values, such as
%20for a space and%26for&. - Write numbers as plain decimals with a
., such as412or0.61. Signs, exponents, digit grouping and, decimals aren’t accepted. - Write dates and times in ISO 8601 with a time zone, such as
2026-10-31T12:30:00-07:00or2026-10-31T19:30:00Z. - An empty value, such as
protein_g=, is treated as missing. - Unknown parameters are ignored.
Errors
Section titled “Errors”If a URL has a value FitBee can’t use, such as protein_g=abc, the same parameter twice, or two parameters that can’t be used together, FitBee shows an alert that names the parameter and doesn’t open the screen.
Stability
Section titled “Stability”Commands and parameters on this page are only ever added to. We won’t rename or remove them, so URLs you build today keep working. FitBee opens other URLs that aren’t listed here, but they can change at any time.
quickAdd
Section titled “quickAdd”Opens Quick Add with any of these values filled in. Check the values, then tap Save to log the entry.
fitbee:///quickAddfitbee:///quickAdd?name=Greek%20yogurt&meal=Breakfast&energy_kcal=150&protein_g=15&serving_weight_g=170fitbee:///quickAdd?name=Flat%20white&energy_kj=460&caffeine_mg=130×tamp=2026-10-31T08:15:00-07:00Every parameter is optional. Give energy in kilocalories or kilojoules, not both. FitBee Premium is needed to log nutrients other than energy; without it, Quick Add fills in only the entry details.
